Barrett & Farahany is investigating Wolters Kluwers and all its subsidiary organizations for violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act for failing to pay its hourly commissioned employees overtime on the commissions.  Federal law requires that all employers pay time and half on both the hourly rate and commissions paid to employees.   Sales representatives, particularly those paid on an hourly and commission basis, should contact the firm immediately.  Eligible employees may be owed hundreds or thousands of dollars in overtime pay.  The law allows employees to recover double their actual overtime damages if the court finds that an employer willfully violated the law.
