A Motion in a Bucks County DUI case is a formal request to the Bucks County Common Pleas Court to act or do something.   The DUI defendant usually tries to prevent certain pieces of evidence from being presented at the DUI trial.   This type of Motion is called a Suppression Motion.   Suppression Motions are commonly used by Bucks County DUI defense lawyers.

Whether your vehicle was stopped by the police improperly, field sobriety tests were given improperly, or the blood alcohol testing was performed improperly, you may be able to keep this evidence out of court.   If this type of evidence is suppressed by the Bucks County Common Pleas Court, it may be possible to automatically win your case.

For example, if your Bucks County DUI defense attorney wins a Suppression Motion because the local Bucks County police or State Police stopped your vehicle for an improper or illegal reason; all the evidence stemming from that illegal traffic stop will be suppressed. In this situation it would be impossible for the Bucks County District Attorney to prove a DUI case against you.

DUI Motions are an example of why it is extremely important to hire a qualified and local Bucks County DUI-drunk driving attorney such as Michael L. Saile, Jr., Esq. of Saile & Saile LLP.
