John F. McLaughlin, Esq. has been associated with Schibell, Mennie & Kentos, LLC since 2003 as a trial attorney specializing in accident and injury cases, defense of clients in criminal and municipal courts, Social Security Disability matters and all aspects of general litigation.

Mr. McLaughlin was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1989 and began his career litigating commercial cases in Essex County. Mr. McLaughlin moved to Monmouth County in 1995 and practiced in Red Bank for several years before joining this firm. He is a member of the Bar of the United States District Court in New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

In 2000, Mr. McLaughlin was certified by the Supreme Court of NJ as a Civil Trial Attorney and re-certified in 2007. He has tried numerous cases to verdict over the years with positive results, In addition, he has negotiated many substantial settlements prior to trial for clients of the firm.
