Award Payment At this time, the Claims Administrator estimates that award notification will be made within the second quarter of 2012, but this date could change. Claims Administration Process The Claims Administrator is currently in the process of reviewing claim forms. Over 1,500 claim forms were submitted. Please be patient. When the Claims Administrator is finished reviewing the claims, Class Counsel will submit a description of the Claims Administrator’s methodology for reviewing claims to the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia. It is possible that the Court might ask for additional information from the Claims Administrator. When the Court approves the Claims Administrator’s methodology, then the amount awarded to each class member is final. After Court approval, class members will be sent a Notice of Award and Release via U.S. Mail. Each class member must then sign and return the Release by the deadline. When the Claims Administrator receives the signed Release from the class member, then the award will be mailed to her. Failure to return the Release by the deadline will bar you from receiving any money from the settlement. Deadlines The deadline to submit claim forms has passed. The claims administrator is no longer accepting claim forms from class members. Claim forms had to be postmarked by June 20, 2011. The deadline to submit an Employment Verification Correction Form and supporting documentation has also passed. Correction Forms and supporting documentation had to be postmarked by January 31, 2012. Address Change It is very important that you keep us updated with any change of address that you may have.
